- (1870s) Took part in in the Franco-Prussian War with the French Cavalry in the battle of Sedan as a Mercenary Private, he died there from execution from desertion.
- (1840s) Briefly jailed during the Dominican Revolution for taking part as War Profiteer to help the rebellion.
- (1850s) Present during the Crimean War as Sailor with the Royal Navy.
- (1840s) Involved in the First Anglo-Sikh War as Infantry Sergeant Major with the Bengal Horse Artillery.
- (1850s) Involved in the Italian Risorgimento as a follower of Guiseppe Garibaldi in 1859.
