- We suspect the Dragon Cultists of the dracolich Anabraxis the Black Talon are trying to establish some kind of new base or bolthole in or near the ancient Netherese ruins of Mhaelos. Obviously this would consolidate their power in the area and serve as a base to attack both us and our allies the Argent Legion. Find this secret location and take it over as a base for Clan Ironeater, some of whom will accompany you.
- Our safehouse near New Olamn in Castle Ward in Waterdeep has reported increased activity by the Order of the Aster, who are asking a lot of questions about an ancient Elvish artifact. As you know, its already in our possession - Clan Battlehammer found it a month ago and we have it at Mithral Hall, but if they don't know that, its your job to throw them off the course and make them think that Clan Duergar have it instead.
- Somewhere in or near the Crypt of Chauntea there is a new hardhold controlled by Clan Duergar. Make your way there and destroy them. Make it look like the work of the Church of Chauntea if at all possible. Our allies the Church of Mystra are aware of this operation and may be able to accompany most of the way there through the dungeon.
- Although they have been allies to us in the past, it appears that the Red Sashes are working with the Bull Elk Tribe of Dock Ward. Do what you can to undermine their alliance by whatever means necessary. You may call upon logistical support from Clan Ironeater, and the Argent Legion have pledged their support as well.
- Go undercover as members of the Red Sashes to find out if they are somehow working with the Shadowmasters of Telflamm as we suspect. Nobody but a loyal dwarf of Clan Battlehammer will know you're really working for us, so even if you get into a scrape with the High Heralds you're on your own.
