- Rescue Platoon: This team includes Flint, Checkpoint, Dart , Rampage, Link Talbot and Sure Fire. They're dressed primarily in dull black and faded purple with neon pink highlights. Figures include: duffle bag, sniper rifle and "weedwacker" gun. The team is available in two-packs and later repainted as a convention exclusive.
- Total Espionage Squad: This Cobra team includes Destro, CLAWS Commander, Vapor, Ice-Viper, Secto Viper and M.A.R.S. Officer. They're dressed primarily in dark gray and faded yellow with an ugly shade of olive highlights. Figures include: boxing gloves, machine gun, skies, pistol, pistol, computer and flamethrower. The team is available in two-packs and later as a mail-in.
- Swamp Espionage Troopers: This special unit includes Flint, Helix, Jinx , Big Lob, Bushido and Big Lob. They're dressed primarily in brown and dark silver with an ugly shade of yellow highlights. The team is available in stores and later as a fan club exclusive.
- Crimson Troopers: This Cobra team includes Firefly, Scalpel, Night Creeper, B.A.T. MK3, Nitro-Viper and Invasion Trooper. They're dressed primarily in dull blue and light black with light yellow highlights. Figures include: removable hat, flashlight, submachine gun and submachine gun. The team is available in two-packs and later offered as an online exclusive.
- G.I. Joe Tactical Recon Squad VS Cobra Sonic Power Legion. This versus pack contains three Joes (Colonel Courage , Flash, and Heavy Duty) dressed in light black and neon black with stark purple highlights and three Cobras ( Cobra Commander, Croc Master, Overkill) who are dressed in in an ugly shade of purple and stark yellow with dull tan highlights. The set includes flamethrower, removable diving gear, antenna, antenna, katana and "weedwacker" gun. In addition to this, each Joe has their own removable diving gear and each Cobra has their own rifle. The set also comes with a DVD.
