Encounter: a wraith (several, actually) . - Abandoned library.
Encounter: a megaraptor . - Orchard. Edible fruits. Harmless.
- Site of ancient battle. Unburied corpses. Careful search will turn up angry undead.
- This area is plagued by a horde of dark elves, who are all organized and militarized (like Tolkien orcs). They are ruled by an upper caste that is religious and are allied to no-one. They are headquartered in a lost city. Most carry a net of some kind.
Encounter: a basilisk fighting a water elemental. - Hill -- you can see 12 miles in every direction.
- There was a bridge over the river here, but it’s been destroyed: swim across, find a boat, or take a detour through another hex.
- Site of recent battle between two local factions.

- Lake. Not a hex-worth, but big enough --an enormous creature hides beneath.
- Freakishly tall peak allowing you to see major features 2 hexes away in all directions.
- Stepwell.
