• A clear, almost lavender sky
• Isolated, large puffs of altocumulus, punctuated by tall columns of cumulus, soon bringing rain and flashing with lightning strikes, and high, wide sheets of cirrostratus with brilliant sun rays shining through
• Scattered, close, rounded lumps of stratocumulus below high, rippled patches of cirrocumulus, barely visible against a starry sky and an almost full moon
