- The Ramparts at Hilford, a famed keep standing 150′ tall. Its well-planned defenses include a thick wooden wall with 11 towers and a simple postern. For better or worse, the keep’s location proved pivotal in the Ox War.
- Greygor’s Mound, a mighty barracks standing 440′ tall. Crags and cliffs flank three sides of the keep, greatly limiting the options of a would-be siege force. The structure’s long and colorful history has been dotted with occasional warfare.
- Kobold’s Bend, an obsolete hold standing 120′ tall. The central structure is protected by a rudimentary wall and an overgrown ditch that may have once been a moat. To this day, the stronghold is the seat and court for the surrounding villages.
- Cook’s Bluff, an imposing hall standing 140′ tall. A great river flanks two sides of the main structure, forcing attackers to fight uphill on a narrow stretch of open field. When defended, the hold has never fallen to an attacking force, despite decades of full-scale war in the region.
- West Bamlockstock Castle, a legendary hold standing 70′ tall. A string of 11 towers provide early warning to the main structure in times of conflict. The entire structure was rebuilt after being razed to ashes in the 50-Years War.
