- an alewife who hopes to find strange parts for her collection. The party should care because she is the Sacred Fool of the cleric’s religion and cannot be harmed. (Actual aiding is optional, but is recommended for ambitious holy men).
- a weaponsmith who would like to locate the PC with the highest Cha. The party should care because he secretly or overtly controls a powerful faction in the dungeon.
- a sailor who plans to spend his time inventing preposterous yet plausible objectives to distract and occupy the PCs while he bumps them off one by one. The party should care because he is really hot.
- an irreverent panhandler who intends to desecrate as many of the dungeon’s altars as she can, since these mean nothing to her. The party should care because she is pals with a powerful creature in the dungeon and can get the PCs past it.
- a halfling jongleuse who is looking for the rest of her party. The party should care because she has a posse, a terrible temper … and a map of the dungeon.
